Our Lady of Fatima's Peace Plan From Heaven

In mid-summer of 1916, Lucy dos Santos and her cousin, Francisco and Jacinta, all in the age range of 6 to 9 years old, were tending their parents' sheep in a pasture not too far from their homes in the mountain village of Fatima, Portugal..

Suddenly the same angel that had appeared to them the past spring, and had identified himself as the Angel of Peace, came again, and said,"Pray! Pray a great deal. The Hearts of Jesus and Mary have designs of mercy on you. Offer prayers and sacrifices to the Most High."

Lucy asked: "How are we to make sacrifices?''

The angel answered: "Make everything you do a sacrifice and offer it as an act of reparation for the sins by which God is offended, and as a petition for the conversion of sinners. Bring peace to your country in this way...I am the Guardian Angel of Portugal. Accept and bear with submission the sufferings the Lord will send you."

Three and a half years later, little Jacinta before she died from pleurisy in February 1920, shared some little-known statements by Our Lady, one of them Heaven's "Peace Plan" of our Lady of Fatima, as follows:

"Tell everybody that God gives graces through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Tell them to ask graces from her, and that the Heart of Jesus wishes to be venerated together with the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Ask them to plead for peace from the Immaculate Heart of Mary, for the Lord has confided the peace of the world to her."
