Think of: The agonizying pain Jesus suffered, with the weight of His body bearing down on the nails in His hands and ankles. The hours He was suspended like this, suffering overwhelming pain beyond endurance, terribly thirsty without hope of relief, bleeding to death, openly mocked and tormented to the end in front of His heartbroken mother. |
