Think of: The agony Christ felt as the rough wooden cross cruelly pressed the raw wounds on His back caused by His previous scourging. How from His weakened state and the weight of the cross, Jesus buckled to the ground repeatedly. How the Roman soldiers cruelly jabbed Him with their spears to bring Jesus to His feet, although He had no more strength. |
