Think of: How violently the pair of soldiers pressed down the crown of thorns so the thorns penetrated Jesus' scalp and forehead. How the soldiers thrust a scepter into His tied hands, laughing in ridicule. How they fell on their knees in mockery, spit at him, and struck him about the head. |
