Think of: The wine was running out, which meant the wedding celebration would be dampened, and the hosts would be embarrassed. Mary felt for the families. Knowing the divinity and abilities of her Son, she turned to Jesus to save the event in this social emergency. He objected initially, stating, "My time has not yet come," implying the time to show His glory. Yet for the love of His mother, Jesus complied. |
