Think of: How without question or complaint, the parents of Jesus traveled by foot from Nazareth in Galilee, all the way to the Temple in Jerusalem to perform the purification offering required after the birth of a child. So like good Jewish parents, they presented the baby Jesus to the Lord, and offered the required sacrifice of a pair of turtledoves or pigeons. |
